Set it up

  1. Create your avatar

    Give me a recording checklist for a HeyGen avatar: lighting, framing, background, what to say, and how long.

  2. Write scripts

    Write 5 short scripts (45-60 seconds) for [topic] with a hook, one idea, and a call to action. Mark pauses and emphasis.

  3. Generate via API (optional)

    Write a script that creates videos from these scripts with the HeyGen API using HEYGEN_API_KEY, my avatar ID and voice ID, then polls for completion and downloads the files.

  4. Translate

    Translate the best video into Spanish and German with HeyGen's translation and check the lip sync.

  5. Edit and post

    Add captions and a thumbnail; write titles and descriptions that disclose AI-generated content where the platform requires it.
